COFFEE
Coffee originating in Ethiopia, Africa, expanded to Yemen, Arabia and Egypt and later, in the 14th century, began to be sold in Europe. It is in 1727 when it started to be grown in Central and South America.
95% of world production is divided into two types: Coffea arabica y Coffea robusta. The first variety grows in high altitude regions where coffee is born most valued for its intense aromas and tastes. Geisha coffees are the jewel of Panama´s special grain production.
Geisha Coffee is characterized by a dedicate flavor touches and tropical fruits. It is grown in the Highlands of the Panamanian provine of Chiriquí, in a terroir of different microclimates of volcanic soils that give it unique characteristics.
